How much fire protection do I get with SnapSafe? |
| |
You get a full 1½” of ceramic fiber fire protection rated at 2300° degrees for one-hour, not just drywall like most assembled fire protection safes. In addition it features door seals that expand during a fire to seal the contents from hot air and water damage. |
| |
| What additional forced-entry barriers does my safe provide? |
| |
Our safes feature "A Non Breech Seal" dead bolt protection on the hinge side of the door. This dead bolt design effectively eliminates hinge prying or cutting. It provides the most secured seal the safe has - virtually steel-behind-steel almost ½ thick. You CANNOT get the door off the frame by cutting the hinges when the door closed. This is the way major commercial safes are made. The SnapSafe Titan and Little Titan turn any closet into a hidden security vault. |
| |
| What if the batteries run down on a safe with an electronic lock? |
| |
All of SnapSafe Closet Vaults feature electronic locks with non-volatile memory. This means your combination code is retained even if the battery has gone dead and is no longer powering the lock. If this happens, simply replace the battery. For added security, you can even deliberately remove the batteries from the lock and then replace it when you need access to the safe.

| |
| How much will I be charged for shipping? |
| |
Our shipping rate is only $99. That's because SnapSafe Closet Vaults and Home Security Safes ship flat, so rates are lower than for conventional assembled safes. What’s more, assembled safes are only delivered to the curb. Your SnapSafe Closet Vault is delivered right to your "threshold" door or garage door. |
| |
| When will my order arrive? |
| |
We try to ship orders of in-stock products in 5 - 6 business days. However, during heavy volume it may take us up to 10 business days to ship your order. You may call SnapSafe at any time to find out the exact status of your shipment. |
| |
| How do I find out the delivery date? |
| |
On the day of shipment you will be sent an auto-generated email that will contain the shipping address and the PRO shipping number. With this number you will be able to track your shipment on line with the designated freight company. |
| |
| Must I be at home when my safe arrives? |
| |
YES. You MUST BE HOME TO TAKE DELIVERY. If a delivery attempt is made and you are not at home, you will be called to reschedule delivery at an ADDITIONAL COST to you. |
| |
| Can I move and assemble my safe by myself? |
| |
Yes, you can move the components of our closet vaults and safe kits and assemble them by yourself if you are able to safely move the door portion of the safe by yourself. The Titan doors weighs 90-pounds. The Little Titan door weighs much less. However, we recommend that you have a friend help you. |
| |
| How long will it take to assemble my safe, and will I need any tools? |
| |
Assembly takes about 30-minutes or less. Each piece is clearly labeled to make assembly simple and intuitive. The only tool you may need is a "persuader" as the pieces are manufactured to fit together tightly. |

| Do I need double fire protection for irreplaceable documents? |
| |
Your SnapSafe fire protection is rated at 2300ºF for one-hour to provide dependable document security. However, we recommend that if you are going to use it as a fire protection vault for important paperwork, you should first put important papers in a fire resistant document box, and then put the box in the safe. This will give you excellent document protection. |

| What if I lose the combination to my safe? |
| |
Our Technical Support at 1-800-342-3033 Ext. 357 will help you once you have completed a Master Reset Code Request Form. This form can be faxed during regular business hours and must be returned completed along with a copy of a valid State ID. You will then be given a secured code that lets you reset the safe to its original factory setting. THIS CODE DOES NOT OPEN THE SAFE. Once this step is complete, you will be given further instructions to open the safe. A fee of $75 will be charged to the owner’s credit card for this service. |
